When i think of summer i think of jet skiing in the water it will be very nice and very nice to have a picnic in the sun.Also i like to swim and i also think of the beach playing in the sand and surfing and playing in the shade.Also i like to get ice cream and in summer we will have it more often. BBQ's and ice in my drink and having lots of cold drinks.Also going strawberry picking and getting big juicy ones,s.
Yesterday we went to the Botanical Garden first we went on the school bus and it took about 20 minutes to get there .When we got there we had morning tea and our parent helpers were with us. One of them was my mum and the children in my group was Declan,Molly,and Adya.When we finished our morning tea a girl named Suzy took us to learn about Native Trees and a while after she told us about a tree we collected stuff from under a tree like twigs,seeds,berries,and leaves in a brown bag. After that we had lunch we had to put on bug spray before going for a native trail. We had to answer these questions. My group was always the last group to read the signs. When we finished the native trail we went to the edible garden and the children’s garden. Then we came back on the bus to school.
today we went to a year five and six and three assembly about a matariki there were some plays about matariki and birds fighting for food and some classes were showing their artwork about matariki and a play about some children trying to seperate their parents the strongest child seperated them after he pulled and pulled and pulled.Also a play about some baby fish and a fisherman and a god and one time the baby fish went out swimming and a man caught all of the baby fish but the god pulled the net off the fish and swam away.Then the haka people preformed and it was preety intresting and all the classes started clapping quit loud and after that it was the end and we went back into our class and finished some of our work.

my school holidays
In the school holidays i went to crystal mountain whith my dad.First we got some bands and put them on our rist so we could enter the place whith the rides.The first whing we went on a was the train and it was extreamly slow! then we went on the bungie tramp and i jumped realy high that i fealt my blood jumping.and finaly i went on the roler coaster twice and it was amazing.Then we went to the mueseam.Then the gallery i got two crystals and one was called diamond crystal.I also got to see turbo whith my mum it was about a snail got super powers and can run SUPER fast!.
